My pug Lucy loves these treats and they are her favorite. The only problem is that after you open the bag, they do not stay fresh. They seem to get wet and greasy. How about putting some kind of a drying pack in the package?

Hi Tracy – thank you for your purchase and review! Some of the meats will have fat clinging to a few pieces. Freeze dried fat will look and feel oily which can be mistaken as moisture. Turkeys, being larger birds, will often have more fat clinging to their meat than chickens or ducks. Rest assured, it is not moisture. We dry our products to a very low residual moisture and water activity level.
